Right after installing and checking out XAMPP,
I installed the newest release of Joomla (1.5.14 )
at C:xampphtdocsxamppJoomla. I installed it as
given in many tutorials I found and worked myself
through
I first started up the XAMPP-Panel,
running Apace and MySQL (running FileZilla
and Memory as well did not save the problem
either).
hostname = localhost
username: root
leave password blank
installing install sample data if learning joomla
and not entering any data at the ftp-configuration /
setting - page and removing the installlation folder
afterwards.
Entering the demo-page as you it right after installation
(
localhost/xampp/joomla/)
gives no trouble at all.
As I enter it throgh the backend:
(
localhost/xampp/Joomla/administrator/ )
it all seems to be allright too.
But then, as I e.gh. go for:
menu stats and
main menu,
I get these error-mesages:

I did not change anything after the installation
nor did I add anything to it or chane anything.
I am working on a Vista home premium
notebook-pc with pentium x2
Who can help me out here?
