Compuware buildingFor our final meeting of 2010, we do have a special treat... the folks at Quicken Loans have invited us out to their new facilities at the Compuware building down town.

I recently took a tour of this facility, and language fails me as I attempt to describe its uber coolness. Plus we are being invited into a wider conversation of technology entrepreneurship encouragement by Dan Gilbert of Quicken Loans.

Quicken Loans RoomI heard him speak at this years TEDx Detroit about creating a "WebWard" corridor along Woodward ave. Open source projects like Joomla! fit into this mix perfectly, and I am excited about the opportunity to meet others as they come into the fold.

As far as topics go, I think it would only be right to take the financial track with our venue and explore all the ways that you can make money with a Joomla! powered website.
