We will be moving into the next phase of a Joomla! website build out. So far we have it hosted, installed, secured, and a general selection of components in place. In the last couple of meetings you have selected a template and major components. We also started customizing the template. We have discussed a new breed of content management components that allow you to escape some of the limitations of joomla and build your own custom content directories and structures. In the last meeting we jumped back into SEO issues and took a closer look at how to wrangle your URLs and work with search engine friendly URLs in Joomla!'s native tools and the most popular extensions for working with SEF urls. Last month we focused on monetizing your Joomla! website with paid membership plans. This next session will focus on long term maintenance issues and procedures for your Joomla! website.
